You may find that you need to register a member to an event free of charge. Follow these steps to waive the registration fee:
- Navigate to the event on your site.
- Select settings wheel > 'Register People to Event'.
- Enter the member's name in the field available.
- Select Ticket Type (don't worry, it doesn't charge the member at this stage). Click 'Next'.
- For the payment method, choose 'Complimentary'.
- Enter a Memo if desired. This text will appear on the generated invoice.
- Click 'Next'.
- Click 'Record Payment'.
- The member is now registered for the event!
Note: Waiving fees will record the amount received as zero.
