Last month, we completed the redesign of the Group Email tool. In additional to a totally new interface, we also added a number of feature improvements based upon your feedback. See below for the details!
Email Tools: We completely redesigned the UI of our Group Email tool! Along with the new look, we launched a tonne of new features. Check some of them out here:
More help content to guide you each step of the way.
No more scrolling to find the WYSIWYG editor. As you move down the Group Email, the editor stays visible at all times.
Name your Group Email Campaign to better track and sort your sent messages.
It’s easier to send your emails to an existing mailing list with the new multi-select tool.
Prevent sending errors by viewing which recipient groups you have selected in the preview pane.
Links selected while previewing your email will now open in a new window.
Save and name a customized email template for future use.
Set the overall font and background colour for the entire email.
- Dive deeper into your email deliverability metrics with statistics such as sent, processed, delivered, opens, clicks, and link tracking.
ReCAPTCHA: Tough on bots. Easy on humans. Ensure that pesky spam signups don’t try and and register on your site. Talk to SilkStart support to enable this.
Standard Invoice Due Dates: Preset the default due date for invoices generated from your network.
Event Attendees: Find out who is attending your events with fewer clicks. Select the number of attendees in the admin panel and automatically get directed to your attendee list.
Event Attendee List: Do you capture information on your event registration through SilkStart custom fields? You can now download the attendee list as a .CSV file.
Mailing List Filters: Create new mailing lists! Create a group email mailing list based upon the home state/province listed in your member's profiles.
400 Bad Request Errors: We implemented a permanent fix to our servers to stop the occurrences of these pesky errors.
Invoice Search: Search results now return even more specific results.
Member Transactions: A simplified paper trail! When you select a transaction in a member profile, it directs you to the associated invoice.
iFrame Support: Anywhere where the CKeditor pops up (the little text and image editing helper), you can now directly embed an iFrame.
Firefox Support: The admin panel member grid looked a little funny when viewed in Firefox. We’ve updated this so the view is consistent across all supported browsers.
Free Job Postings: Posting a free job no longer requires the user to go through so many steps!
Multi-chapter Event Propagation: As a multi-chapter admin, you may set your network default to have your chapters propagate their events to the apex event calendar by default. Just let SilkStart support know and we'll set it up for you!
