How do I track my SilkStart site's traffic using KISSmetrics?

What is KISSmetrics?

KISSmetrics allows you to learn more about how visitors engage with your website. Unlike other website analysis tools, KISSmetrics follows your site's visitors over time, generating information like:

• How often a person visits your site.
• What actions they take each time they come to the site.
• How many visits a person makes before they become a member.

Linking KISSmetrics to your SilkStart site enables you to learn more about how people engage with your SilkStart site over time. You can then use this data to help you make informed decisions about your website, marketing strategies, and membership plans.  It is free to integrate KISSmetrics with SilkStart, though most KISSmetrics plans come with a monthly fee.

How do I add a KISSmetrics tracking ID to my SilkStart site?

First, you must have a KISSmetrics account.

1. Sign in to your KISSmetrics admin panel.
2. Click on the Settings tab. Scroll down to "Your Javascript Code".
3. Copy the full javascript code from this window.
4. Send your KISSmetrics code to your Account Manager. Our team will install this data on your SilkStart site, and let you know when this has been done.
5. KISSmetrics will begin recording information within 2-6 hours of your code being installed. You will receive an email from KISSmetrics when data is being recorded. 
6. Log in to your KISSmetrics admin panel to begin viewing your results.
