By default, SilkStart provides a join page that lists your membership plans allowing your members to register online.
If you do not wish to use the SilkStart join page you can set up your own custom pages that link to your membership plans. See our other FAQ, How can I access custom signup links for my plans?, in order to aid in creating your own custom join or renewal pages. Alternatively, you can simply provide more details about joining your organization and link people to your SilkStart join page (yourdomain.silkstart.com/join) to pick a plan.
Note: If you would like to link to the renewals page then the following link will require members to login first before visiting the renewal page: yourdomain.silkstart.com/auth/login?after_login=/join
Once you have created your custom join and/or renewal page:
- Navigate to Site > Website Settings in your admin panel.
- Scroll down to the Join Button section.
- Enter the URLs for your custom pages for either Custom Join Now Button URL OR Custom Renew Button URL.
- Click Save in the top right-hand corner to apply your changes.
All join and/or renewal links on your website will point to the URL entered.
Can I change the text on the join button?
- Navigate to Site > Website Settings in your admin panel.
- Scroll down to the Join Button section.
- Update the Custom Join Now Button Text field.
- Click Save in the top right-hand corner to apply your changes.
