How do I copy or clone an event?

Some users may have recurring events which have similar or identical details. SilkStart allows users to copy or "clone" events so that these details can be replicated, saving you time!

How do I copy or clone an event?

From Admin Panel

• Manage > Events
• Select the event you wish to copy
• Click the gearbox in the right-hand corner near the invite button
• Select > Clone Event
• Choose Start Date/Time
• Select > Create

From your SilkStart webpage

• Go to http://yoursite.silkstart.com/events.
• Select the event you wish to copy
• Click the gearbox in the right-hand corner near the invite button
• Select > Clone Event
• Choose Start Date/Time
• Select > Create

The event will now be populated with all of the existing details from the original event. If you have to make any changes to the event, simply edit the event before you click create.
