Generate powerful and informative reports to leverage your data and better understand your members.
Easily create reports using our drag-and-drop report builder. SilkStart allows you to save your reports for quick access later, as well as export a CSV file for additional data manipulation in Excel or for import into other application like Quickbooks or Xero.
In your admin panel, navigate to Manage > Manage Reports and choose Create Report. Click the links below to discover what information is included in each type of report:
- Membership Reports (Membership KPI Reports - Membership Stats Reports)
- Event Reports
- Financial Reports
Adding or Removing Fields
Simply drag in new columns from the additional fields column or remove unwanted columns by moving them back to the additional fields column.
You can quickly filter most reports using the filters option located along the top of the report. Simply select the filter you wish to apply and configure your search terms. You can select and apply as many or few filters as you like. Learn more.
Sorting allows you to sequence data in a way that makes it easier for you to find the information you’re looking for. All reports, including custom and pre-formatted reports can be sorted. Learn more.

Save and Export
Saving for Future Use
When you are done customizing your report, you can save your report by clicking the blue Save button. This means that if there's a report you need over and over, you can save a template for how that report should look. Once you have named the report, it will be available to you from your Reports home screen, so you can download it whenever you need to.
SilkStart updates your reports constantly, so they always show the most up-to-date information about your members. Saving a report in SilkStart records a template for how you want that data to be displayed.
Click on Download CSV to download this report to your computer. This will save a .csv file, which you can open in Microsoft Excel, Numbers for Mac, or any other spreadsheet program.
